Hi, I am selling my fabric stash on eaby and am making money I so desperately need but they need to be steamed or ironed before I photo them or send them. Ironing takes so long and I know I helped at a dress store once and they had a steamer, I can't afford much at all, but can i buy something at Walmart that would actually work well or on ebay used. What is good ?

it all depends on the fabric. i purchased a steamer from ebay which was great. then i re sold. on ebay. i would definitely try to make all my items presentable. nice picture and description which catches the eye of others is key. try kijiji, craiglist, and ebay. i love ebay. you can also get a handheld one maybe on amazon.com for about 20.00 good luck. will talk again.

If you have a table steamer, that's the fastest for what you are doing. Hand helds aren't that fast plus you use a ton of distilled water (if your household water has high minerals). Plus most are pretty chinzy. You may find ironing is the fastest and cheapest. Can you fold them at least in half before ironing instead of ironing them flat...or fold in quarters and photograph the ironed top? Most of us would launder the fabric anyway before cutting.
