I don't think the middle names go very well with these 1st names except maybe Mitchell. I like Chloe and Max but ratings for the 1st and middle together would be:

Mitchell John is the better boy's name.
Not fond of Tayla - it sounds like Taylor but with a Brooklyn accent. Chloe is very trendy with the young moms right now, so I don't really like that one either. But I do love Mitchell John. Nice and classic!

Also, saw on the news last night - Max is the number one PET NAME right now, followed by Molly. So, I don't know if that influences you...

i think most parents call their children by their actual name. it's the kid's friends and others that use nicknames typically.

chloe lana - a little difficult to say all three names. sounds like chlo elana. 8

tayla holly - 4 doesn't seem to fit each other.

max patrick - 7 not wowed, but not hating it

mitchell john - face it, others will call him mitch and mean kids will call him mitch "the BlTCH gilbert". face that reality.

don't assume that you can make other people call your child by his full name. you can't enforce something like that and trying to would only make you seem crazy. you should always consider a child's possible nicknames. btw, i went to school with a kid named mitchell and he was popular and they still jokingly called him mitch "the BlTCH" so imagine if your kid isn't lucky enough to be popular.
