ooh and did you know the saying 'dead ringer' came from centuaries ago in Britain when people actually made a hole in coffins and buried them with a peice of string through attatched to a bell. Sometimes weeks later the bell would ring and they would have to dig them up again. Isn't it scary to thing that some people do actually come back to life and no one would know?! Sorry I was amazed by this! lol

I can tell you how the concept of rude material came to be referred to as 'blue'. Not amazing but interesting!
During the 17/18th Century in France, low-brow material was printed on sugar packets, which were blue, in order to distinguish them from high-brow material!
EDIT - I didn't know about the concept 'dead ringer'. That's a really creepy idea! Thanks!

It was reported in my local paper that a man driving a van on a quiet road where i live, sneezed and was seen by the police. Was pulled over and done for dangerous driving cos he took his hands off the wheel to sneeze! He got 3 points on his licence and £120 fine!

We all know that when we sneeze we close our eyes, and this can be dangerous if you sneeze while you are driving.
If you wink one eye closed just before you sneeze you will be able to keep the other eye open., ...and see the traffic.

yesterday i saw( and petted) baby twin goats. awww...they were so precious and soft! thier mama was close by but let us play with her babies. they were amazing. they snuggled next to each other. :)
