In the current state of affairs of the world, & the direction we all seem to be taking, there are MANY valid reasons to fear. Then, can hope be discarded?
To hope, or to fear are individual choices. For me, hope evokes more involvement; fear is dispair.

Fear, fear & only fear. People who conquer the fears & hope for future are the real winners.

Future being uncertain, it provides both hope and fear depending on the attitude of the person. However, it is the ever present hope that keeps us going and the endeavor to tackle risks that determines progress.

The hopes of today will be realized. What is happening now is the forces of ignorance, both political and religious, are in a state of self destruction. They have been in the majority for all of history. So it will create widespread destruction, but not total.
The real question is, is their hope for your future?

Do you mean, "Will people in the future have hope or fear for their present (which is 'the future' for us)?" Or do you mean, "Will people in the future have hope or fear for their future (which is a more distant version of 'the future' for us)?"

a bit of both my friend. Hope because technology is changing for the better but fear with the increase of violence on the streets

I used to think, Fear.
Now, I see Hope.

The main danger comes from those that have no relation with us and fear what they don't know.
Now however, people are having better cross cultural relationships with many inter-national, inter-cultural, inter-racial, inter-religious marriages taking place.
This is the ultimate expression of accepting and loving people different from one's own upbringing.

If you can believe in Jesus as your saviour, then, yes, there is hope for the future. Unfortunately, not on this earth, but beyond when we die. Grams
