So my Mom wants to know what does she do when she has a daughter (that would be me) that spends excessivley on fashion (clothing, shoes & handbags)?

I was telling her how I was having fun answering these questions & she jokingly asked this question outloud & I decided to post it.

One last detail...let's say you do have a job & earn a living, but you put all your money into your mother's account.

I would take away her credit cards. If she doesn't own any credit cards, I would not let her leave the house to go shopping, because I would know that if she leaves the house, that's where she would go. You may think that it's all fun and everything to have nice shoes, nice clothes and stuff, but you are spending way too much money, and it's not healthy. You will soon get into the habit of it, and when you grow up, you're probably going to have a credit card, then you'll be in debt because of all the money you spend. You should get some help with that, hun. Listen to your mom, she knows best for you.

I used to spend a lot of money on fashion. Tell your mom that making her daughter work full time will teach her the value of a dollar and that only giving her money for necessities will take care of the rest. Fashion goes out of style very quickly, so you're better off saving the money for college.

If she's giving you the money then she should stop.
