You normally clock boot time from the computer being off to the time the desktop is functional.

The shut down time can vary greatly depending on what all changes you made that Windows needs to save during the shut down process. So the timing for a "restart" is going to vary a lot. Not a reliable test of the boot speed.

Anything under 3 minutes is considered a decent boot up time. Again, it will vary depending on how many items you have loading during the start up. No items, and your computer will start in under a minute. Lots of items, and it can take several minutes. So a boot time of 70 seconds is decent for the specs you listed.

Hmm... mostly sure, mostly no. I commonly simply appear for an album that does not have many "filler" songs and are all commonly forged songs. I dont have got to LOVE each and every unmarried tune, however I do like every one to a specified measure. Although mostly my favourite albums do not continually have my favourite songs from the band. Either method I additionally revel in how a few albums simply float or have a subject to it. I'd pass extra into element, however my eyes are slowly drooping on the second. :) BQ: Not my all-time favorites... first matters to come back to brain (in random order): a million) The Piper on the Gates of Dawn - Pink Floyd two) A Night on the Opera - Queen three) In the Court of the Crimson King - King Crimson four) London Calling - The Clash five) Breakfast in America - Supertramp 6) Boston - Boston (to be reasonable, such a lot songs sound the equal. If you favor one, you favor all of them). 7) Powerslave - Iron Maiden eight) From Mars to Sirius - Gojira nine) Black Holes and Revelations - Muse 10) Desolation Boulevard - Sweet

Usually its from when you see the Windows logo for the first time. 70 seconds sounds about right for the amount of RAM you have. 480MB means you have 512MB total system RAM with 32MB for shared video.

With XP, 512MB RAM is OK but you should really get more if you can. Also, a 32MB integrated video controller is not that great. Getting a separate video card will speed your overall system performance up nicely.
