Well ok this is long but its detailed and relevant x
I have a motorola l6 and a sony usb wich fits into my computer so i logged on and it comes up with the
'can windows connect to windows update to search for software'
so i click the yes this time only one, then it goes on and on until it says you ned some cd thing but i just want to upload pictures so can ANYONE help,
PLEASE please please? x

Ive asked other people who said i just need to go on the installation wizard and that the cd thing doesnt matter so im confused x

It order to download the pictures, you need a driver installed in your computer that gives Windows the instructions it needs to know how to access the camera/phone (or whatever it is). When you click the "search for updates", it looks at the Microsoft web site for that driver. However it is not available from microsoft.
You need to go to the motorola web site and look in their download section. Look up your camera/phone and you will find the driver you need to download. Once downloaded and installed you will be able to copy the pictures to your computer.

well as far as my knowledge goes u need to have a DATA cable as well as an installation cd of the same data cable series to transfer data between ur PC and fone.just connecting a dat cable in the port wont help.if u dont have the cd then simply connect ur data cable with phone and PC and make sure ur net is on.web will search itself for the specific software.though it is not always possible to find the required software.if this does not work search on google with keywords containing the same name of series as dat written on ur data cable.also make sure that is it possible to transfer from a moto fone via a sony cable.i dont think so but still verify on google.
