LJ Smith for Heath Miller. I have LJ Smith.Should i do this trade?

LJ is just my backup TE. Todd Heap is my starting TE.

At the point of using LJ and Heath Miller as backup I would say no because your gain is minimal at best and your loss could be greater in the long run.

I think LJ Smith will do slightly better than H Miller this year, but they are both not one of the top tier TE.....See if you can trade for Vernon Davis (I think he will have a break out year) or try to pick up one of the 2 rookies G Olson for Chicago and Z Miller for Oakland as your backup. What is the point of that trade from your perspective? What would you gain from that trade? If you can't figure that out, it is not worth it.

I would say no because the best the trade would get you is a couple of points, but at the same time you can lose that many. Now if you were trading a TE for an RB or WR, it would be a different story because you may have a greater need for one of the other positions. However, a TE for TE trade is normally not worth it unless you initiated the trade.
