My son is 5 months old, and is 27 inches long, so he cannot sit up unsupported yet, but doesn't fit in his infant bath tub ( laying down ).. I can't put him in the kitchen sink, or anything like.. So what can i do? Any suggestions untill he can sit up?

I bought a newborn/laying down bath insert thingy and then at about 6mths or so changed him over to an upright bath aid.

This was great, as I didn't have to hold onto him and could sit at the bath edge and let him splash around. Otherwise, you could buy a nonslip mat and lay him in the big bath but with just a little bit of water (no higher than his ears) and have your hands ready in case he rolls.

Or take him in the shower with you or daddy. They love this. One showers him while the other is waiting with a towel for 'handover' when he's done.

I am not sure how well this would work for you, I can't remember how well my son was sitting unsupported when I made the switch.

In any case it is great when they are a little older and start standing, or at least my son wouldn't stand in the inflatable tub but he would in the regular tub.

This is (more or less) what I used. It fits snuggly in a bathtub do you don't have to worry about it slipping:

I also found this, might work for you:

Well what I did with all my babies was just put them in the bath tub with just a few inches of water so they could kick and splash and there was enough to wash them. Or you could try one of those tub seats that helps them sit up until they can do it on their own. But laying them in the tub is much funner!!! I loved to watch my babies splash and kick and laugh!!!

This probably wouldn't be an everyday solution, but you could get in the tub with him and hold him yourself.
