I'll elaborate only in passing:
The "ancient age," actually age from 500BCE-500AD (just before the begining of the middle ages) saw India become one of the centres of the world.
It developed mathematics, astrology, grammer, military strategy and administrative aspects such as post offices etc.
These "ancient" teachings were spread far and wide, Buddhism and Hinduism were the major religions of Thailand, China, Japan, Cambodia, Malaysia etc. and their language is still based on the Indic script (except China and Japan).
India's culture was a "Huge" influence on the architecture of China, Japan etc. and till this date Indians such as Buddha and Bodhidharma are revered by the peoples of these countries.
Mataram, Sri Vijaya, Mahajpit, Chola etc were Hindu kingdoms in power through till the advent of Islam, they dominated the cultural aspects of their counties and you can find this by a simple search by their name.
India's achievements are few after the fall of Harsha and the Mohri-Gehlot (Rajput) conflict, which led to the deunification and eventually conquest of India.
I want to leave it at that and not go into other points. I can fill an entire page on how the country influenced martial arts, trade and so much more. Not that it matters presently because its currently a polluted mess.

I'd like to but the phrase "ancient knowledge system" is really strange and appears to be meaningless as does the term "cultural super power".
