It would be really painful!
And it wouldn't be possible to ask and answer here, so no, I don't think so. I'd use my savings to buy the gloves.

no i would not chop off my own hands,
i would just pull the sleeves of my jumper down over my hands to keep them warm.

Depends what i was using them for...... Washing up? chop hands.... Cleaning up dog poo? chop hands.. actually i will chop hands for everything gross and sew them back on when i want them for something useful!!

Hell no. That's extremely cheap. Gloves don't even cost that much.
