Any predictions on what the sentence will be?

Well, since he's a pro football player, probably 6 months plus fines (if that even). Then he'll also have his job waiting for him by next season. As you all know, celebrities don't spend much time in jail for anything. What a crock! The guy deserves to be tortured during his stay in jail.

Are you guys serious. 12 to 18 months. He will be made an example of. 36 months minimum. And he will need to start advocating for humane treatment of animals. That should be part of his probation. That and to go to elementary schools and teach or youngsters what not to do in life. This idiot had it all. And he threw it away for what. For some kind lf sick enjoyment call dog fighting. He deserves what he gets, and I hope it's more then 12 to 18 months that uall are saying.

He's just going to officially plea the sentencing will be at a later date. But I would guess 12 months.

Not enough, but these kinds of things happen every weekend in places its terrible, this would've never seen the light of day except he's "High-Profile"..18 mos. suspended sentence!!

I bet he'll end up doing too little time, maybe a month, even if he's sentenced for 3 months. It's good to be famous!

Seems like celebrities and athletics can get out of practically anything.He'll properly get a fine and probation.Have a good day.

i saw the news a few minutes ago, he may get 18 months. i think he got off easy, especilly considering what he did. how could someone do that to a dog?! i love pit bulls! i would never fight dogs!!!

Nah, he has money so I don't think much will happen. I'm sure he'll be fined, but I'm not sure much else will happen. I think he needs to be sentenced to one year (MINIMUM) in jail for each dog he killed or caused to be killed. This as well as $250,000 for each dog.
