i would advise you to change the doctor and check, stop using soap for him instead you can use besan powder to give bath..
I would not advise anything more as it is regarding a small baby.. it is better to consult a doctor

A full body rash and screaming in pain, this should be a sign to see the doctor again, or switch doctors. Rash and pain could be a very bad thing, do he have a fever?
Stop using all soap in his laundry now, use some baking soda on some outfits that need washing and put it on him soon, perhaps he is having a horrible skin reaction to the laundry soap.
Take him to the doctor, as a rash for over 1 month and screaming pain isn't a good sign.

My son had the same thing.... little bumps all over his body, at first the doctor thought heat rash....but it kept getting worse at times and never went away....turns out it was allergies and the allergies brought on eczema. Does your baby also have flare ups some times? It appeared when I switched him from breast to bottle. He's on Nutramigen milk now...but it doesn't change that he's sensitive to everything. Sounds like your baby is also developing eczema. I would suggest that to the doctor, he'll most likely refer you to a dermatologist and they'll give you a non-medicated moisturizing cream as well as some prescription soap to bathe your baby....meanwhile, use something really soft with no perfume and wash his clothes in some baby detergent. Good luck.

he may be screaming due to extrmem itching, i know he caint scratch but he could be itching all over, If its due to soap or laundry detergant, have you changes his soap or lotion or anything in the past month. It could be somethng called scabies. He could have gotten it even from a adult that held him or a child that has simply touched his hand..He needs some antitch cream Lamasil cream works well for that.and i would advise changing his doctor. If he can not tell you why your baby is breaking out he dont deserve your money! In the mean time try washing him in the baby soap only and use the softest laundry detergant you can find and buy the itch cream. You should see a change within a few days. Also give him some motrin for the pain..
Good Luck

First of all take him to a dermatologist or skin doctor. It could be excema or dermatitis which is persistant and annoying for a baby. Try bathing him in 'pinetasol' solution to ease discomfort as well and avoid any non-organic or certified sensitive skin soaps, shampoos, washing detergents etc...
Also rule out foods you could be eating if breastfeeding or a formula you are using

2 months old need real good attention, if its all over the body except face then it must be related to clothing don't use poly cotton clothing only use 100% cotton clothes for your baby. as new clothes are harsh so wash them before dressing baby.
if rashes are also on face area then immediately consult doctor, keep your baby clean and give shower on regular basis u can use Johnson's baby sensitive skin body wash..
