You can test now, but you'll be wasting your time and money. No pregnancy test will give you a result this early. The further you get in pregnancy, the more the pregnancy hormone builds and can be detected. The OTC tests that claim to test up to a week sooner can only work in a small number of people(read the fine print) because of this hormone. When I was 2 days past my due date for my period, I just barely had a positive result. Be patient...you'll know the answer soon enough.

If you are not due for your period for nearly another 2 weeks, you would have only conceived in the past 5 days or so. It would not come up on a pregnancy test yet.
Usually cycles go something like this.
period for 7 days, 7 days later you ovulate (& concieve if lucky), 2 weeks later period if not pregnant.(28day cycle)

You are only just past ovulation so wait at least another week or until you acutally miss a period. Before then is pointless and not accurate.

I know it is hard to wait but if I were you I would wait. It is too early to get an accurate test.
I would wait until August 31st, or Sept. 1st to test. Try a first response test, I hear they are the best for early detection.

Good luck!

You would have concieved about 4 days ago, it is HIGHLY unlikely you woudl know yet. But, if you do have symptoms, no its not likely to show yet, sorry :( I tested positive at 7 or 8 days after conception with #2-didnt intentionally test that early, had surgery scheduled lol. Wait until your period is missed so you dont get let down.

You could get a test but Its highly unlikely you would get a positive reading even if you are pregnant. I know your very anxious but I would wait until at least Sept 1st.
good luck

It helps if you know when you ovulated. I tested positive just 10 days after ovulation with an early pregnancy test and first morning urine sample. If you want to test now, then go for it, but obviously the closer you are to your due date is going to be more accurate. good luck.

The new pregnancy tests allow you to test up to five days before your missed period.

ept is as early as days before missed period but there is only a small accuracy then, I would wait until at least 2 days before missed period (9/4) then at least the EPT would be like 80%, cant be sure though until 9/6! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
