Really if you think about it today wars are hated. If we dont want war can't enough of us protest and refuse and the war will simply not be able to happen ie wanting to invade North Korea or Iran....If there is a draft they wouldnt be able to cell the millions of protesters in jail.

I am very intersted in the conspiracy theories that the Iraq war was just a gateway toward Iran. Whether Illuminati sponsored or just incompetent political leaders.

Cant the Common people prevent it?

I was also thinking about the first world war and a few movies ive seen....Dont rember the title but i rember one soldier asking why they were fighting and it was only because of The leaders the war had nothing to do with there personal lives. And then the soldier said since its there war they wanted why dont they just all go at it?

you know why should The comman man have to fight in wars like Iraq that we have no buisness being in?

Even if you do vote alot of times your still stuck with people who will do things against the american peoples wishes. Especilly if you buy into conspiracy theories which i find easy to beleve because of how secretive our goverment has become.

I can see the war of self Defense as being just or protecting the weak and defenseless

But when it comes to things like Iraq i dont think its right we should be asked to sacrafice our lives for the goals of things like corporate oil and more money to the wealthy.
Life is too precious to throw away in war
and should be avoided at nearly all costs

I also find it hard to be considered patriotic when you die in a war that has no cause and will probly end up doing the Iraqi people more harm than good

You get to vote at every election. If you do not like the way any policy is being handled, vote for someone else. However, if you are not successful, then you are not in the majority in your opinion. Don't fall into the trap of believing your opinion is the majority opinion just because you only converse with like minded people.

It is also very important for the loosing side to accept the results. Civil disobedience and other such carrying on because you did not win the point is anti-American.

In my humble opinion.

If you paid attention to the way congressmen changed their positions on the 'amnesty' bill due to public feedback I think you'd see that it would be certainly possible if the public was as unified over the authorization to use force then as they are now about illegal immigrants, then, yes, it is possible to avoid things.
