Why do most people consider Rodney King's comment so stupid?
He asked: "Why can't we all get along?" That is a reasonable question.
The picture of people getting along is a peaceful one.

It is a reasonable question, you are absolutely right.
When he said or asked, ''why can't we all just get along'', he meant everyone one and including all groups, but I see some people still thrive for separation which is so sad. We should all, every race come together and live in peaceful harmony.
Wait! I must be dreaming. Too much hatred in this world and some people unfortunately do not want to change.
Rodney knew exactly what he was saying and hoping for someday for this to happen.

Well, first off, what happened to Rodney King was horrible but let us not forget that he was a shameless drug addict who did initially assault a police officer to get beat so bad and he was a multiple time repeat offender. Thousands of people have been asking for years why cant we all get along. Nothing new.

I totally agree with you, why can't everyone get along?
I'll tell you why, because there are some small brained,inconsiderate,pathetic people out there who think that they are better than everyone.
