She is healthy and very active. Loves to play with toys. She sits on her own very well. But she hates being put on her tummy. And won't even try to roll over (other than side to side) or to crawl. Could this mean there is a problem? Or do some babies just do this later than others? My first born was very early about learning everything.

I've actually heard of some babies who skip rolling and crawling and go right to standing and walking....Just keep an eye on her and talk to your pediatrician if your really concerned.

Not all babies crawl. Some babies skip crawling all together an begin walking earlier than normal. Something to keep in mind when reading articles or books about what your child should be doing each month, is that they are guidelines. Regardless of what your first born did, your daughter is her own person who is developing at her own pace.

My first daughter was like that... She actually never rolled over. She crawled and walked first then later when she would get her diaper changed or get dressed she'd roll over and stand up. Some babies scoot across the floor on their butts and pull up on couches or tables. Some babies have their own plans of motor skills and not what the doctors plan for them.

There incredibly may be no subject in any respect. My daughter did no longer roll over properly till approximately 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, did no longer crawl till 13 months, did no longer pull up till 13 months, and did no longer stroll till sixteen months. some little ones are slower than others. yet perchance his mom ought to talk along with his pediatrician. it ought to have an underlying situation, or it must be time-honored for me.

It is probably not a problem babies develop at different rates. She may be more a more verbal than active child but if you're worried ask a doctor just to put your minds at ease.

I think alot of babies just take longer or maybe she will just start walking instead of crawling, some babies do that.

She should be ok. Some babies just take longer. My second was almost a year old before he even tried to walk. But if you are concerned call you DR they will be able to ease your mind.
