how does a 250 - 300 lbs woman with short arms wipe her butt? as she walks by, it appears that there is no way for her to reach.

back when i worked in hell (the nursing home, every good med student should do his/her time there) we had a 400+ who just refused to wipe.. anything. she smelled foul all the time due to her continuous skin breakdown/infections anyways, so it didn't really add much to the mix.
showering was really the only way to clean herself "down there".

Not entirely sure about your curiosity .... but I would think that since the body is made to 'fit', that all the parts are moveable ... then the individual will find an alternative position to move into in order to reach the area concerned - that or some form of accessory that assists in reaching .... after all (as an unrelated but similar example) they make back scratchers for those of us who can reach that itchy area on our backs with our hands ....

but what about a 250 - 300 lbs MAN with short arms? how do they wipe their butt?
i'm sure there is a way they reach down there
or they use a bidet which is generally cleaner to use.

MMMMMMMMMMM...good question but I had to laugh. I had an obese aunt and she wiped from the back to the front...what I mean is she would bend over reach between her legs and wipe her butt...you can laugh because I did, i was about 10 years old when I saw her do this...Peace

You guys are serious a** holes.
Whats wrong with you.
I am around 300 lbs, but you would never know it by looking at me, because you guys are grossly overestimating how big that is. You people obviosly dont understand that being obese is like being shunned from the world, you guys are adding to it. We do everything you do, it just takes more work. And NO, i dont have any special devices, chairs, ANYTHING. we are NORMAL people.
---P.S.....I wipe my a** just like you. i reach down and wipe. maybe you should reach down and take you head out of yours.

We have someone like that at work.
I have often wondered, until I went in to the bathroom while she was in it.
I heard her roll off the toilet paper and I heard her grown as she reached down to wipe, so I suppose they can reach there after all.

They use toilet paper saddles. After their done with their business, they sit on a bidet, rise off, then straddle a toilet paper saddle and drag their bottom acrossed it to compete the wiping procedure. Who needs hands when you have a saddle?

..well, sometimes you can't help but wonder, I imagine, that they can't really, and not to be mean, but I would think that they have to use a shower...being overweight like that, is probably very uncomfortable, and the same would go for a MAN in the same prediciment.
