I would be rhetorical here, as it is important. I am not too young to let go of my past, as a matter of fact I have never been. Instead, as I grow older I value my past more, and harder it becomes for me to condemn to the store mere obsolete memories, memories of a bygone age, of some other time, as if all that has been in the days, months and years of my life, all people, places, incidents, smells, sound, sights and the music have been in vain like fleeting shadow upon evening skies; as if all that once was buzzing with life that I have been were unchangeable, solid, and frozen still now. My past is what I learn to value more as more life is added to it. It gains significant with the each day that I live. It engenders situations as if it were with me all the time, walking with me like a ghost fried, sometime wise and friendly, sometimes tormenting and pestering.
My past is in my present changing as if nothing that I ever did ever ended: things ill conceived previously, I find myself inclined to know all over again, things done half heatedly, I try to do all so well. My past is changing into my future; it is melting, moulding and reshaping in the crucibles of the moments present in the heat of ever so more powerful realisations of what I am now.

Hmmm...crude or philosophical, hmm...
Give a dam, join the army, have a teenaged girlfriend, pee my pants, giggle, or learn how to read.
