Right on the money there. Can you believe that people also sit and write questions and answers about Big Sodding Brother?

Now I hate the legislation culture we live in but I would gladly vote for a law that says people who watch, like and discuss that crap be forcefully lobotomised and left to dribble down their t-shirts. Mind you I guess if they do watch it, they can not have too much brain to start with.

Yes I've lost count of how many X Factor's, I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here etc. there have been. I remember when X Factor came out and they said it was going to be different to Pop Idol...no...it's exactly the same. The only reason I know there have been 8 Big Brothers is because everyone calls it BB8. They were different to start with, but now it's all just the same and it bores me to tears. It's just good that most of it is on Friday and Saturday nights when I can be in the pub instead and I got Sky anyway so I don't have to watch it :-D

I agree. Bring back a good play or two and something a bit more intelligent than all those very simple quiz shows. A few are good, but most are a complete waste of space. The amount of adverts in programmes also gets on my nerves and I'm sure they turn the sound up louder when the commercials are on. However, that said, I must admit I'm rather hooked on 'I'm a celeb'...... but that's only a solid 2 weeks of the year and I manage to avoid all the others like the plague.

With satellite or cable channels there is loads to choose for everyone to watch.
So switch over to find something you like
Several channels show real programming shows that you are looking for so you should find something to watch

I agree. Many of these so called "reality" shows are staged, even though "My Life On The D List" with Kathy Griffin is quite good. The others can go away. Too many reality shows and not enough original shows on tv.

Woohoo I actually agree with Dr. Bad for once!!!! Plenty of other programmes to watch so you don't have to watch the reality ones - leave those to the people who do like watching them. I don't like watching sport but they won't take that off will they?! I just watch something else - simple.

I think there are enough channels to choose from now where you get a balance of programmes which appeal to all types, leave us BB lovers alone x

I love reality shows. There are a wealth of other channels showing anything else for you to tune into.

Yes, I miss the sort of programme which we used to have. There were some great series like Upstairs Downstairs, Family at War, the Forsyte Saga etc. There were also some good thrillers without all the violence that we have nowadays.

I have opted out of TV these days. I look at my husband's glassy eyes as he watches and that's enough for me!
