the wes brown one.if you watched motd 2 they showd it in slow motion and circled where the ball landed.it wasnt his arm exactly. it was like more his chest.that's what i thought anyway and then they proved it. so for all u bitter anti-MANU'S you can shove off and stop complaining!

The ball was going in the empty net and if it hits any part of a defenders arm, how is it not a penalty. Meant or not meant, he has gained an advantage by the ball striking his arm.

For all you united fans out there. How much would you be shouting and screaming for a penalty if it would of been Ledley King handling it at the Stretford End? You forget how many penalties that you have had which were never penalties just because referee's get intimated at officiating at old trafford.

I am not a anti- Man U, neither am I a fan but, you must admit that had happened anywhere else in the premiership it would have been a penalty.

Other teams find it very difficult to get anything at penalty or otherwise at old Trafford, that has been happening season after season, there was the time when Man u players surrounded ref's if they dare to give a decision against the team.

Now they don't need that tactic any more.

I agree, i had it on sky plus and it is very clear slow motion. It actually hit the side of his chest but the balls passed his arms and gave the illusion that it did touch his arm when it actually didnt.

I believe that it wasnt a penalty against manu as it caught the side of ferdinands chest not his arm

It wasnt a penalty..I'm a neutral and support only clubs playing good football with sportsmanship..Not clubs with high profile names..And for Christ's sake pls leave the refrees alone,,,try givin a decision in seconds in front of thousands of fans...Peer pressure, but still 90% of their decisions are right..Even if it was a biased for man utd, the tot's will get a dubious decision to them one day this season,,so instead of cribbing about it,accept it..

Me but i am a Man U fan so i think i'd be classed as biased! It was ball to arm and it was his upper arm/shoulder area! The linesmen and ref made a very good call!

it was diffcult to tell , the linesman didnt say anything so it was problay not , but to be fair to the ref he couldnt see it , and i couldnt tellk if it was his chest or arm , so it best of not given
