My period is always bang on time, right at the end of the month, lasting 4 days or so, this month, it came around 8 days early, and is still in full flow on day 5/6. Im 44 and never had any problems before, should i see a doctor or am i worrying about nothing?

It couldn't hurt. I'd only be concerned if you are always very regular. You should see your gynecologist atleast once a year anyways so if you're due to go or worried, please go!

I wouldn't worry about it. Perhaps menapause is coming up soon and you may want to see your doctor about getting on hormones for that. I only say that because I have seen others that have gone through it and it seemed very uncomfortable for them and the hormones helped. Other than that I would not worry about it coming early or being heavier.. this isn't that adnormal unless the bleeding doesn't stop for over 2 weeks then I would contact your gyno/doctor.
