What if the Backstreet Boys got a touch of Madness, after they had to eat their Limp Bizkit (having dropped them into Hot chocolate) and so they played with Matchbox 20 which then caused Smokey damage to the Hothouse Flowers planted in Savage Garden. Would they be in Dire Straits with the Police?

Yes, their Mamas and the Papas would be furious with their Offspring, and they would try to find The Cure for their Disturbed behavior. If A Simple Plan couldn't be found, the garden owners would be Avenged Sevenfold, and the kids would be locked up in jail with 10,000 Maniacs.
