I recently saw Wicked at the Pantages, but you shouldn't worry too much about parking. There is a parking area right across the street that costs $8. You can pay for it the same day you go, but I recommend that you go at least an hour early since parking might be more difficult later on and if the show takes place at night, you might want to get a bite to eat. There are many great restaurants in Hollywood. I recommend Kabuki, a Japanese restaurant with a modern vibe, and New York pizza on sunset. Just look on mapquest for directions. I hope you enjoy yourself.

Make damn sure that you get there on time. Or else.

A friend of mine gave herself plenty of time to make it up the freeway to the Pantages, but got delayed by a traffic jam. She missed the opening curtain by a few seconds, and they made her (and everyone else who was late) wait in the lobby - while the musical went on - for about 20 minutes before they finally let her take her seat in the theatre. She missed several musical numbers and was really ticked off. So get there early...
