No it is not illegal but it may be immoral. Pre-marital affairs, pre-marital sex ,pre-marital termination of pregnancy any of these have not been accepted by the courts as either grounds for divorce nor they have been allowed as ground for taking consent for the marriage by force or fraud for the purpose of declaring such marriage as null & void. This the actual legal position as held by various courts in India.

I am no lawyer, but I cannot believe it is against the law in any country. How could you prove it? This is just another example of women being held to a higher standard than a man.
What my g/f did before I met her, is between her and her Creator. Do I have the right to judge someone? Well, wouldn't that then give them the right to judge me? Hmmm, I am not sure I wish to be judged by anyone other than God.
As far as I am concerned, we as a couple are newly born. When the "you and me" turns to "we", that is when I would expect certain committments to be honoured.
I could care less about what others think of her. Live and let live is how I feel. If one is only interested in being with virgins, you are missing quite a number of good women. You can't change the past, so why worry about it?
Are you telling me that if a girl had relations with a guy before she knew you, and you later found out about it you would want to divource her? The question is.... Do you love her? If you do, forget it and move on or you can live your life in misery dwelling on something that cannot be undone. A bit insecure in your relationship mate, eh?

It is not illegal but only immoral. If the woman is pregnant with someone else's child at the time of marriage and the husband becomes aware of this only after marriage, he can get the marriage annulled at his option i.e the marriage is voidable and not void. Such pregnancy amounts to fraud on the husband but if the husband knowingly marries a pregnant woman then the child born would be legitimate even if he is not the father.
People are free to follow their conscience with regard to pre marital sex. No body is a witness except God. But it most certainly is not illegal under any law. As they say Charecter is what you are in the dark.

i dont think there is anything illegal in this. As it is, virginity is somehting that cannot be proved. Its somehting that a girl knows for herself and the guy ahs to just accept what the girl says. The hymen can be broken due to exercises, getting hurt or any other reason too and also the hymen can be made intact again with a surgery. Hence htere is no sure shot method of knowing whether hte girl is a virgin or not before marraige and in hte same way there is no way to prove otherwise. So not illegal about it. Immoral or not will again depend on the circumstances, reasons, outcome etc of the pre-marital relationship.

How do you look at Virginity.? What about mental thoughts.. Masturbation??Physical virginity is not all the marriage is about. Do you think a Physically virgin person never has sexual Fantasies? If you are just after that then marry a 2 year old and that is DEFINITELY ILLEGAL

It may be grounds for divorce in India. I will confirm with my Indian co workers and let you know by tomorrow.
You may even be able to get the marriage annulled in the US. I remember some star got an annulment for misrepresentation or something like that.

I dont understand approximately the place you come back from, yet premarital intercourse is in basic terms that...PREMARITAL. How can it in all risk be cheating if it befell in the previous a marriage. And here interior the U. S., one doesnt bypass to reformatory for cheating throughout marriage the two. Theres in basic terms no grounds there. Are Indian rules that antiquated or what?

Not being a virgin is not a big deal today. No you cannot get a divorce based on this and what happened before the marriage is not your business. Forget about it. She/He loves you now. That is enough
