ive dwnlded AVG antivirus...do i need to dwnld the antispyware and other stuff?

You should install a firewall, and the Comodo firewall as previously suggested is the best.

You also need a couple on-demand antispyware. Spybot S&D was suggested, so I will give you the link and also add Superantispyware:

try Hitman Pro. They use several good antivirus/antispyware programs, free and will clean your computer. If you like the products after the free trials, you may then buy them.

Windows firewall is pretty useless so get the best out there which is also free, and that is Comodo Firewall at: http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com

if you have no other antispyware program on your computer, i'd install this as it is very good, i use both programs myself and have had alot less problems then when i was running norton, or macaffee
