I have told them that each religon seems to push their own beliefs and through it all it is smple. If you believe in Jesus Christ and love him as your Savior then that is all there is to it. From there jusy apply the common sence that God gave you. Being a Christian simply means believe and faith. The "man made" point of views" is what causes confusion and aggrevation and people not wanting to be involved in faith based religions.

Answer the door, then politely say yay or nay to talking with them, same as with most anyone at my door.
But then I am a Witness so I probably would say Hi Brother/Sister (insert name) didn't know I lived here did ya:D, how are you, etc.
Sometimes I tease a little before telling I am a Witness.

There is no need for ploys or tricks. Simply state the following:
"Please write this address on your territory card as a "do not call" home and please respect this. Any more calls will be viewed as trespassing."
Works EVERY time. Notice the thumbs down???? THat is an indicator that IT WORKS. JW's just don't want you to use it. It binds them legally not to call again, just like the telemarketers do not call list. If they call again, YOU GOT 'EM.

Politely thank them for their concern but I all ready have my own religious beliefs. Say, Thank you , again as you are closing the door. I have nothing personally against J.W.'s but if /when I want to learn about them I will contact them.
