Yes, it is possible for a woman to get pregnant during her menstrual period. Though the chances of pregnancy are usually lower at the onset of a woman's period, there is no predictable time during the month when the risk of pregnancy is absent.

If you want to do it like right now, then make sure you get protected right now too because nothing is going to prevent you from getting pregnant unless you are abstinent. But since you're not, condoms and birth control work a hell of a lot better than not having something. So don't take any chances when you're having sex. And by the way, isn't having sex on your period kinda nasty? Just my opinion...

YES!!! YES!!! YES!!!
YOU CAN GET PREGNANT FROM HAVING SEX ON YOUR PERIOD!!!!
I am 8 weeks pregnant right now. I had sex while on my period, on my 3rd day right smack in the middle of my cycle. Before that, I hadn't had sex at all for 3 months, and I haven't had sex since that night. We used a condom but it slipped off and he ejaculated inside me by accident. 2 weeks later I was involved in a car accident, and had a bloodtest done. Pregnancy tests are typical on female trauma patients, and imagine my surprise when the doctor came in and said I was pregnant!!! So, now I'm unmarried and pregnant by a marine who will be leaving for Iraq in February leaving me 7 months pregnant!!! DO NOT DO IT!!! IT CAN HAPPEN!!!!

It is unlikely, but it's not impossible.
According to clearblueeasy.com:
"You are only fertile, and therefore able to get pregnant, on a few days each cycle – the days leading up to and around the time of ovulation (when an ovary releases an egg). If, however, you have a short cycle length e.g. 20 days, you could be ovulating around Day 6 of your cycle and could, therefore, be fertile very early in your cycle even though you are still bleeding."

i don't think it's biologically possible, but use a condom if you're really in desperate need for it. it's just kinda gross without condom.. and wait for the later days of your period so it's not all messy.
