My gold bangle smells a bit metallic but it's meant to be full 9ct not plated or anything and none of my other gold jewellery smells like anything. Does your gold smell at all even slightly?

9ct has less gold than higher carat grades so you are smelling the other minerals that are in the gold. I believe pure gold is 24 ct but it is too soft for most jewelry.

My daughter has a 14k solid gold bangle (bracelet), earrings, and necklace and it does not smell like metal at all. Maybe the lower the karat the more prone to smell like metal? I could be wrong though.. but I don't think gold is supposed to smell like metal at all, nor does silver.

I have real 24 carot gold rings and braclets and they dont smell like anything. I also have a gold plated bangle (is metal inside) and it also doesnt have a scent, so your bangle probably is solid gold as gold is a metal - hense the metalic smell....

well pure gold doesnt smell
and i think there may be some mixture of another metals
in your bangles

it smells like gold. You have to really smell hard to smell it.

odor free.
slightly nail pollish cuz i put some on not that long ago...but the ring doesn't smell.
