For anyone who thinks I'm young and slacking off... I'm 31 and this is my fourth hour running of stats. A person can only take so much!

Perhaps start thinking about dinner. How do you like your steak prepared? Median rare?
Ok at least now you can think of Marianne's lame jokes when the statistics gets a bit tedious. I have to say that statistics was my favorite class in college which is saying a lot considering I detested math. But I loved the teacher and she just made it all make sense. Loved her!
But four hours of it? *sigh* No one should have to endure that! So dream of pickles and those you enjoy and it'll get you through the last stretch. And once you're done...... we'll all go play! :)

Yikes, let's see here... you asked this question 2 hours ago... and you were in your fourth hour then... so I'm guessing that by now the class has ended but you're still snoring away at the back of the room, drooling on your text book while somebody somewhere is scratching their head and saying "Where the hell is Soulgirl76?"
I usually find that a dozen jumping jacks or a quick sprint to the end of the block and back will energize me... but unfortunately that doesn't last for four hours. So maybe next time you could try bringing a handful of chocolate covered espresso beans with you, a particularly yummy way of staying awake.
On the bright side, I'd like to point out that all these years later, I've yet to find a more effective cure for insomnia than my old Biometry text book. So be careful where you drool, and imagine all that money you'll never have to spend on sleeping pills.
(Biometry = Statistics as related to Biology)

Ask a completely irrelevant question, and see what the statistics are about how many of your fellow students even realised that you had asked it.
See if you can fit it in to the current lecture regime.
