I'm going to have 4 large groups of girls ages 10-15 and I have to lead them in something but arts & crafts & sports are already taken and I do not know what to do.

Okay... have them each bring a pair of old jeans and pull together some cloth and lace remnants and fabric paints and teach them how to restyle the jeans... can be turned into a purse or whatever. Leftover legs can become something else, like a shredded scrunchie with some elastic. That can be a craft or a "fashion" thing.

Another thing might be to look up sites around the city that are supposed to be haunted and why. Perhaps for a tour sometime. It is a good way to sneak in some local history.
What other events of historical importance happened around there? Who were the primary characters in those events?

Hi, I have been arranging something like this in the past... one thing you can do is arrange a public speaking group... Speakers, Evaluators, and Judge... Another will be table topics moderator who asks impromptu questions (previously thought of by the administrator)... the person to answer is randomly picked from the group of audience, the audience can also vote for the best respondent... and maybe pick up a topic for debate.

The topic of the speech is something the group can choose for themselves and it should be concluded with a solution they think appropriate. Also same for the debate where they discuss the pros and cons of a given topic and the judges decide who was or which group was able present their case logically. Evaluators can be somebody with experience from the neighbor hood who can give some insights from thier experience and then the speakers may also benefit from the constructive evaluations.

Good Luck.

You should lead them based on your own experience that you can share and contribute for their benefit. This could be as simple as moral education, or how to deal in a situation that girls during their growing years will encounter.

I am sure there is lots of area that you can lead them. Just follow your instinct and ideas will just flow in...

take care
