We have no idea we do know that it has been around for a long time. The Bible talks of it, the Romans and Greeks talked of it, and other accounts so it really could pre-date history.

Who was the first person to start having sex with the same gender, and how did they stumble upon the idea?
(Notice the correct spelling and grammar in my question? It makes it a lot easier to read, don't you think?)
It wouldn't be fair for me to just post a question without answering yours, so I'll take a stab at it;
I believe the first couple were named Atouk and Lana, and they called the act "zugzug" as in "Atouk zugzug Lana" this act they performed was copied from watching other animals do it.

Supposedly Adam and Eve, But I cannot picture God giving His children direct instructions.
Probably learned from the monkeys.
First Gay couple learned from the monkeys too.

Don't know- it must have been a leap of the imagination!
Maybe it was "situational heterosexualtiy" -there wasn't anybody of their gender around, so they have to make do!

1st answerer, dont bring religion into it, because you can't disprove or prove it and it just starts a bloody argument.
I would assume the first people in existence, or the first of evolutions mutations, otherwise humans would of died out.
