I make my own puppets but want to make a different easy to make design. I am looking for ideas from others and also looking for a pattern for a puppet I saw that was formed with a bendable, yet stiff plastic foam.

This puppet was light weight, easy on the hands and your hand fit snug inside it. I have never seen one made of this material before. The foam was aprox. 1 1/2" - 2" thick.

Does anyone know where I can find free, easy to make puppet instructions on the net?

I only make puppets that have mouths that move.

I am a puppet maker as well. I make Marionettes and Glove puppets. I write a blog about puppets which I update often, on Yahoo! 360:

I have several other resources for you:

I usually just do a search for "free puppet patterns" with variations in word order. I prefer to make marionettes or draft my own patterns, so no specific sites to suggest.
