Well, i see in my school guys lean more towards the stupid girls with no respect for themselves. I see me as a pretty matured person when i am compared to other high schoolers. Just trying to understand the maze they call a man brain???? : )

It's probably due to a combination of several factors.
Many men look for women they can dominate and feel that a relatively stupid and immature woman is less threatening to their egos and authority.
Probably even more influential is the fact that people prefer to be around people who are like themselves. Since intelligence is a comodity and there are a lot fewer intelligent people in the world than relatively low IQ people, the intelligent person in our society will usually have a harder time finding companionship and a support group that they can belong to.
Still, things don't work against intelligent girls all the time. Certain peoples like the Chinese, Vietnamese and Jews seem to have unusually high IQ's. In the case of the Jews, it is known that long ago they began paring their boys up with the most intelligent girls in their communities to produce smarter children. Over the centuries, it has paid off for them.
The Chinese and Vietnamese were probably under pressures from their enemies to do much the same thing.
Who knows, maybe some day, changing circumstances may force American males to take into account the IQ levels of their partners more too. I think that the days of leisurely isolationism for the United States is already basically over with.

Stupid people are easier to manipulate than intelligent ones.
Personally, I like having someone that is on my same mental level...and, it seems, by significant other does as well. We are both quick, dark, witty and dry, and we get along quite well.
He doesn't try to pull anything over on me, or me on him, because we're both too sharp for it, and we're both too concerned with each other's emotions.
Stupid girls, which are a convenient dime per dozen, are easier to control, use, and leave. It's easier to maintain your lifestyle with a stupid girl because she's okay with just being an accessory, and you can just go about the way you used to without much hassle (so long as you buy her something every now and again).
There is a lot less emotional involvement with a stupid girl, and seeing as that you're still in some degree of school, that has a lot to do with what you're seeing. Many boys don't want an emotional experience - they want something pretty to hang off of their arm, something to bang until they get bored with, and something that is as easily removed as acquired.
Not all guys are like that...which ones are you looking at? The quiet, shy guy in the corner could be more the type for you.

There is nothing saying that an intelligent girl cannot be attractive. Maybe you're too smart and mature for the boys in your school. You could wait awhile, until you graduate, and see what else is out there. You definitely should not dumb yourself down to get guys to like you. An intelligent girl can also be very sexy and feminine, while maintaining her self-respect. It's a delicate balance, it might take a while to learn.

To start off, if I were in high school with you I would think you were incredibley sexy because I think that stupid, typical, girls are no better then my hand as far as pleasing me(catch my drift). With girls who are intelligent and passionate about stuff other the their shoes and hand bags, there is so much to talk to them about and to wonder; most guys aged 12-30ish don't like this. They want something that looks pretty and will serve there most primal needs(aka their sex drive). As men get older they appreciate more so the qualities that you have because most of them have realized by then that pretty, stupid girls are only as good as the sex they provide, and it pretty much ends there. I'm sorry to say but trying to find a mature, intelligent guy out there will be very difficult for you until you get to be in your mid-twenties or so. I know this because I am a 20ish aged guy and know exactly what they want at my age.

I'm gay, but I think that straight guys go for the stupid girls because they are more apt to "put out". Smart girls aren't going to spread their legs.

Stupid girls are into sex,sex,sex.
Mature girls have more intelligent,productive things on their minds.
Since young guys are mostly into sex (I'm not trying to be rude,it's just true),I think they lean towards the stupid girls .
That's my theory. I could be wrong.
