If you have a true swimmer's build and you're a competitive swimmer, then I see not much of a problem wearing one when training, doing laps, or when competing. I know the Olympic fellows these days have these entire pant-suit-type operations they slide into, but those look extremely goofy to me.
So if you wear one, just make sure it's solid black or navy. Nothing too fluorescent. Then you'd be headed straight to Homoville.
Here's a good rule: If you're standing with a Speedo on, you must also have: 1.) a ripped swimmer's build; 2.) a completely shaved body; 3.) goggles on your head; 4.) a competitive rectangular pool in front of you with lane markers.
In other words, it should not be worn for fashion or to impress anyone, but rather for your own sport reasons.
Now, a tight-suit alternative to the speedo might be the sort of suit worn by men about mid-20th-century. In black or navy, its cut sort of resembled short boxer briefs. Looked fine due to its dark color. Cary Grant wore one; JFK was also a wearer of such a suit, along with millions of other men. But at that time they were likely made of cotton, and not today's shiny synthetics -- another consideration to keep in mind (shiny and tight usually don't go so well together).

Speedo also makes a man's swimsuit that looks like standard trunks. The only way that you know it to be a Speedo is from the word printed into it. I have one of those. I wear it. I am straight.

Pantyhose could be utilized to dodge jellyfish stings, yet except they are going swimming in waters that are infested by using jellyfish, donning pantyhose is thoroughly pointless. It feels like they have been in basic terms a collection of whacky adult adult males out having relaxing. they are called bears on the sea coast? submit to is slang for a masculine bushy gay guy.

It's very European for straight guys and great for tanning or for swim competitions. Other than that, you'll have to decide if you're comfortable wearing it to whatever location you are considering.

Why not? Should men be embarrassed? Fat women wear bathing suits, and that is pretty disgusting!
