I go by the same rules as if I'm not on yahoo answers.... if I want to talk to the person, I will answer the phone, and if I don't want to talk to the person, I won't answer.

Of course! I can not stand the sound of a ringing phone, going un answered. Plus it could be important!

I usually do not answer my phone any time. I check my answering machine several times a day and call back when appropriate

No, I have a 20 rings limit before attempting to answer. And no one has ever scored the 20 rings.

Hello. Then if I know them I say Hi Honey, or, hi Baby Girl, or who ever it is. My brother's family says, "This is the Smith Family Home how may I help you?" it sounds so formal. My silly daughter says Pizza Hut will this be to stay or to go? I guess it is all in your personality.
