My husband and that i are Catholics, and we cope with our dogs as a relatives member! My husband's Godmother has a cat and treats the cat as a relatives member, as properly! i'm a sort of Christians who believes that no longer basically do animals have souls, yet God loves them only as much as he loves people, and that they get to circulate to Heaven, as properly. i like to think of of all of the animals I enjoyed that have gave up the ghost (maximum at the instant a guinea pig that replaced right into a puppy on the toddler care midsection I artwork at) are up in Heaven unique each and all of the youngsters who died youthful, which includes people who died formerly they may be baptize and the infants who have been aborted. Love your cat all you like. deal with your cat as a relatives member all you like. it incredibly is not any sin.

Yes....I have a cat and her name is Princess (I named her when I was 8). She is a stuck up little thing who gets treated like a princess and a part of the family...maybe even better. lol.

yes i do. i lost my mini Schnauzer and it tore me for weeks on end. I even had a funeral for her when i buried her. people told me just to have her in a bag when i did that and it horrified me when they said that. i loved her too much to do such a thing. they told me it was just a dog. I guess they would never understand that she was more than a dog to me. She always seemed to know when i was feeling down because she would come up and snuggle with me. it was nice when i would come home and she would be waiting for me. she would get all excited and jump on me. the unconditional love was the best. I def want another dog. I want to adopt one here real soon.

Yes; but the way I sometimes treat my family, I don't know if that is such a good thing or not.

Of course I do! They have their own bowls and places to sleep! They even have their own toys. I do consider them my family! I have six furry members of my family! Smokers, Nikki, Daisy...aka Mary Martin, Little Pusskins(he is not so little..27 lbs), Pippin, Gypsy! They even have their portraits in the hall along with the other family members! They are a blessing to me! I love every one of them! They were all strays and starving and sick when we took them in. We could not let them go because we fell in love with all of them! We are vet bill poor but our little furry family is worth every penny!

Both true.
