One thing you could do is set up a both somewhere and charge people a resonable amount of money to draw them as cartoons. Or if you want to be taken seriously about your cartoonist capablities then talk to your local newspaper about publishing your cartoons in the paper. Any which way you go with it as long as you want to be taken as a professional is a good idea.

Start doing political cartoons for your local newspaper. Chances are they don't have good artists to pick from, unless you're in a big city.

Get a job at an amusement park as one of those people who draw people into "cartoons"

Can you draw caricatures? Go to university frat and sorority houses and other campus hot spots. Also, newspaper editorial satire.

Cartoon art for the private collector. There is a market for it, you just have to find how to get into it.

You could offer your service to small buisnesses or to book authors. Maybe even to magazines.

whatever it is it won't be practical.
i guess you could look in to drawing comic strips for your local newspaper and eventually looking for more papers to run your strip, then look toward syndication.

ever been to the vegas strip...a lot of artists there, doing fresh graffiti art for people to buy. a lot of tourists buys 'em
