According to Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) just returned from a visit to Iraq, a trip that she called a “PR tour” chaperoned by U.S. Embassy officials.

She warned that there is ongoing PR blitz from the White House and its conservative allies to build public support for a long-term occupation of Iraq:
“It’s so clear to me that our focus is on the wrong battlefield,” Schakowsky said. “And my experience in the region has convinced me more than ever that we must set a deadline to withdraw our troops from the religious and tribal civil war that’s going on in Iraq.”

Sending Americans to Iraq is the greatest gift that Bush has given Al Qaeda.

If I was Al Qaeda, I would want the U.S. to pull out of Iraq. I would want Bush humiliated. I would want a woman or a feman we can control. I would take control of Iraq. I would use it as a staging ground for all "good" Muslims to join the fight against the evil Satan.

And I would prove to the U.S. through terror that I can steer that giant ship through my actions.

I would enter your country and start randomly killing people.
I would use chemical and biological weapons you thought did not exist because you are stupid.
I would use a multitude of brainwashed suicide bombers to blow up people having fun.
I would kill in small towns as well as cities, no one is safe.
I would blow up American monuments to let you know you are worth nothing.
I would bomb transportation systems, buses, trains, airports.
I would join forces with Chavez, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Kuwait and raise the price of oil to 300 dollars a barrel and devastate your economy and make ourselves richer so we have more strength to further kick your a s s and control your foreign policy.

You will allow me to push every Jew to the bottom of the Med.

Luring Dumbwad into a ground war in Iraq was one of bin laden's goals. It is much easier and cheaper for him to kill Americans there than it would be to kill them here.

His other 2 goals were to get US troops out of Saudi Arabia and bankrupt the US treasury. Bush has complied with both those demands.

Of course they want us to leave Iraq. They have announced it publicly. Their plan is to keep killing people until we lose our will to fight and leave in defeat. Just think how many new recruits they can get if they can say they defeated the mighty Americans. And of course, we'll never get support from other countries in our fight against terrorism, because we can't be counted on to fight when the going gets tough. It's too bad that half our country wants the same thing as the terrorists.

Absolutely they would. They've made numerous statements that Iraq is where the battle will be fought. They'd love for us to concede defeat, but hopefully we never will. If Vietnam taught us anything we need to have some damned conviction and stop being so war weary. It just takes time.

We can't just leave those people to be slaughtered like they were in Vietnam after we left. We went in to do a job, we have to stay until that job is completed. I know hard work is something liberals aren't very used to though ;)

Hell yeah, They would want us out, Then they could go back to normal operations, terror cells being reactivated in the states for primary missions, as well as sleeper cells, Also Iraq would become a huge safe Haven for all terror Operations and a safe haven due to know recognized government, sought of like Somalia or Afgan revisited. Since they will be in-charge they can start indoctrinating the youth of Iraq in there war against the west and Isreal, New Recuits since they broke our will.

If you are anybody in the world except an American imperialist, you want the USA to pull out of Iraq.
