Fill a hollow plastic tube with gun powder.In the bottom of the tube put a roll cap and a pin protruding out( A small button type explosive used in play boy gun)close the top rigidly. If you mix the steel ball or glass pieces the effect will be more..When it is dropped the roll cap will ignite the gun powder and cause the explosion. Instead if cap you can use fuse wire and connect it in an electrical circuit that also will explode when you give the electric supply. This is how the time bombs are exploded by the terrorist simply by using the alarm clock. But please understand the Principal don't try to do it.

Please bare in mind that 18% of the people making explosives are hurt by them. (FBI statistic) My trainer said that it was entirely too low a number for his satisfaction. (Very strange sense of humor) I have a scar on my leg as a permanent reminder that things can go wrong. My eyes were saved by having glasses. All that from something that was supposed to be a flare. I went to school with a kid that had one artificial hand using one of the solutions described by one of people answering. Please ask a question before using a site to make explosives."Why is the FBI still allowing the site to exist in this day and age of terrorists?" The answer is, of course, that they either hope you will try and get hurt or that they are monitoring the sites and will put your name on a list. If you visit enough sites, you might get 'visitors'. Home insurance may not cover accidents involving fires or explosions.If you have an accident and are covered with chemicals, the helocopter rescue will not transport you no mater how serious your injury is and a regular ambulance may take up to an hour to 'drape' their equipment before transport. Please reconsider.

How about a molotov cocktail? A bit dangerous though.
Just make sure you don't hurt people, including yourself. It's going to be nasty if you get hit by this one!! It is also illegal in some countries. You have been warned.

Pop cotton is relitively harmless and neat. Some nitric acid and sulfuric acid is needed. Look it up
