I believe the most profitable legitimate way to make money on the internet is paid posts on blogs. There are a number of other methods that you can also use to boost your earnings.

If you have money, you can invest it. This is basically getting your money to work for you. For people who don't want to learn everything about investing, they usually hand the money off to a professional to manage the money. The most common and cost effective way is buying shares in a mutual fund.

Easiest way to get started is going to your bank, and asking about mutual funds. Some places like ING Direct allow you to start investing with as little as $25. My bank requires an initial investment of $1000. It's not bad though, my money grows at around 9% a year, and I don't have to do any work because someone else is managing my money for me.

I consider that pretty lazy and legal.

I've been doing webpage design for over 4 years now, without having another job. You don't need any experience either really, just get Photoshop CS2 and Dreamweaver, and the program pretty much does all the work for you. I purchase website templates on the internet for around $30 each and then use photoshop to edit the .pdf files and "design" websites for local small businesses for anywhere from $500-2000 a website with only take about an hour or so to customize the website to fit the merchant your designing it for. Then you just upload the files onto yahoo hosting.

Pretty simple just do some research online about simple website design.

Then of course you can be a freelancer in everything. A writer, designer, copywriter, sales consultant etc. You got to know what you really love to do and what are you good at.

For a start, you may want to try out different things. Once you know what you really love to do, build on that, become an expert on that, and start to charge at a higher rate.

You can also try internet marketing. You can do that by not spending anything. i would have to tell you that money don't come easy, but like one person said on line surveys and selling stuff on e-bay, or a garage sale, but it all really consists of working whether you have to move a lot or a little, that is up to you, playing the lottery is a way to try to get lots of money to but nothing is guaranteed good luck and let me know if you do find something that requires little to no work and you actually make money doing it
