For games I check out booaghost.com. There are random games at the bottom every day besides the common links that make up the page. Sometimes you find something cool.
A good time-waster is wikipedia.org. You can look up topics you're interested in.

specially cause there are a lot of those related about my favorite band
I also visit the palace, using the phalanx
