Nowhere in the USA is like England.

I don't think there is one. London is about 1000 years old (probably more) and nowhere in America is that old. New York is far too modern to compare to London and Washington is quite quiet and spaced out whereas London is walkable. Sorry, those are the only places I've been to in the US.

In terms of diversity of people and things to do, probably NYC. However, as an American who generally *hates* American cities, I would say I liked London as much as I like Boston.

Boston for sure. Especially the older part of town near Faneuil Hall, some places even look like London.

Nowhere really, although if you can imagine a city with a mix of the architecture of Boston and Dallas (old and modern), and with the atmosphere and feel of NYC and Chicago, then you're getting close.

Nowhere on earth, it's unique.

Just ask the 25 million tourist who visit this great capital of ours.
