Honey, it's a hoax.I thought it was so too.if you are a moon watcher like I am Aug 28th near 3:30am Eastern time,USA there suppose to be a full moon and a lunar eclipse at the same time, sometimes the moon will appear a different color. That is true and I am looking forward to it,it will be a good time to wish for what you want.

(Many blessings)

Everything in the internet is true... and I have the sexy body and face of Tom Cruise. Yah!
Check out www.snopes.com or www.urbanlegends.com to check out some of the myths that pass through our email. Do you still get that mail from Bill Gates giving away some of Microsoft millions? I'm still waiting... when I was gullible enough to spread chain mail.
Just think about it. If Mars was really that close to earth, then the gravitational pull from these enormous masses would ...KAbLAam such as in The end of our world....

There was a little bit of haze last night so it really wasn't that bright, but I imagine it would have been quite bright of not for the haze. I believe its closest to the earth tonight (early Sunday AM at 2AM).

Why do people insist on posting urban legends so often on this website? If it's not "Huge Freaking Mars" it's "OMG WE EAT 8 SPIDERS A YEAR!!1!!one!!!?????"

Mars will appear clearer, but will not appear anywhere near as large as the moon tonight.

Good Lord! Doesn't anyone EVER search the questions, or at least Google before asking and making fools of themselves????

Wait, I didn't research that question or Google it... never mind....

well it's only 4:20 pm here so no moon yet.........
Edit: I thought you were talking about the eclipse. If you're talking about Mars it's a hoax as others have mentioned. This event actually happened about 4 years ago..........
