Danny O'Keefe (original 1971), Elvis did it in 1973, and Leon Russell also in the 70's as have many others. For me the original is still the best!

I think this one has been done by a number of artists over the years but Jerry Lee Lewis is among them...

I believe Elvis Presley also did it and various country singers (I think maybe Charlie Rich?!?)
