Just ask my 5 year old!!! In other words, not safe at all!!! I played Russian roulette with my then boyfriend (now hubby) and we had a great little boy to prove that it is not an effective form of birth control. Go get some condoms, have her get on the pill, whatever it takes...in the meantime, if I were you, if you are serious about not wanting her to get prego, then you need to abstain until you two figure some type of birth control.

Not safe at all!!! There is only one safe method and that is total abstinence. No Birth Control Method is 100% safe, there is always a certain amount of risk involved! Seminal discharge can occur quite easily...long before Ejaculation even occurs. And alot of pre-seminal discharge can still contains thousands of active Spermatazoa. Remember??? It only takes one of them to cause a Pregnancy! People who use this method are often called "Parents" for a damned good reason. If you want to lessen that risk...use a Contraceptive Foam in combination with a Prophylactic Condom or other method. But again...no Contraceptive Method is 100% percent safe! And the Withdrawal Method is the unsafest of all. If you cannot deal with abstinence...at least get educated on the subject, and read up on your options! Making this kind of decision without being informed, can lead to bad consequences for both you and your partner...especially if you are not fully prepared to handle the responsibility of pregnancy and children. And especially when you are in a relationship with no Longstanding Commitment! I'm gathering this point only by the fact that you've said that she is only your Girlfriend.

My husband and I were using this method, and I'm now three months pregnant!
The withdrawal method can be pretty hard to control, even when you think you're doing your best.
It's better safe than sorry. If you don't want to get somebody pregnant, the best way is to abstain, obviously. But if you're not willing to do that, you and/or she need to use a reliable method of contraception, like condoms or birth control pills or patches.

Not very. The only way to gaurantee not getting a woman pregnant is not to have sex. My mom had 6 babies that using withdrawl. Wrap it up. Do your part. And talk to her about bc. There is no use in telling you not to have sex because it is useless if a person already has it in their mind they are going to do something. Use a condom, there are more things to worry about than just getting a girl pregnant like std's and things.

It's absolutely safe, if you want to become a father....
C'mon, if you're nervous when you do it this way, then what's the point? Just use a condom and relax! I've found the best ones are Trojan with the reservoir in the light blue package (I think they're extra thin? Super sensitive? Anyway, they're in a light blue-grey package) In this day and age, it's better to be prepared and relax than be caught by surprise. Believe me, those 2 a.m. feedings will put a damper in your life every time!

Not safe at all Seriously!!
You can actually get pregnant on The Pre come so i wouldn't chance it if you want her to fall pregnant and use a condom!
Or there is a needle that she can get that she gets every 3 months and that will stop her from getting pregnant the local doctors do it, Its a new contraception they stick a rod in your arm it doesn't hurt but so far its been working!
Hope this Helps!!!

Then invest in a box of condoms. How do you think that so many women and teenage girls get pregnant? It's because they are so misinformed by their parents/friends/teachers and trust you guys too much. If you must have sex then use protection! Not just for her but for yourself too. Don't just worry about making a baby how would Gonorrhea, Syphilis, or AIDS fit into your life style?

why not just cough up 50 cents and buy a condom from one of those public restroom suspensors...the withdrawl method is about 60% effective....
Please don't ask you partner to get the "needle" every three months, like the woman below me suggested. It's called depo provera and it screws up a womans hormones for years after she's stopped using it. It causes infertility and osteoporosis in some users....
