A brain - yes, but no sense of morality, humanity or common sense.
Apart from being involved in something disgusting, why would you even even begin to risk a stellar career over something like this. Think of all the kids who looked up to Vick as a role model - someone to be admired and emulated - how do you tell them?

MARK -- so they didn't realize how illegal it was? Why were all the buildings housing the dogs painted black and hidden in the woods? Why are these dogfights held late at night and in hidden locations? Oh they knew pal--
You didn't know dogfights were illegal? Well, buddy, I didn't even know they existed. The people I associate with would NEVER participate in such a thing. The thought of what goes on at these blood sport events absolutely makes my stomach turn flips. So I NEVER had to consider the legality, but if I had ever seen one I do believe I would have gone to the authorities to find out.

Well, we always knew he was stupid, now we know he doesn't have a heart either.
Dang, other than a decent pair of legs, this guy is missing most of the body parts that makes us human. So is it fair to say he isn't human, and it would be ok for us to electrocute him after he has fought another vicious animal?
