no health issues? ok. i do think that fast food should be banned, but i'll try to give you an example of how it shouldn't. for someone who is late for work and doesn't have time for a long breakfast, they could drop by a McDonalds and pick up some food through the drive thru. also if your kid forgot lunch that day, the parent could stop by a fast food place and pick up something for the kid. a third example is that if fast food would be banned, many people would have no jobs. fast food jobs are very easy to obtain and provide people with a somewhat decent paycheck to live off of. if the place shut down then many people who don't have much working experiences would have to look for other jobs.

Fast food should not be banned.
It should be boycotted. At least the unhealthy stuff.
Germany and Japan have the typical fast food franchises that you find in America. They also have other fast food that is very healthy. Sushi to go and Turkish Bistros......Oh! If I could only sink my teeth in to a Donner Kabob right now. Such rapturous gastronomical extacy.

fast food, like most so-called "vices" is harmless if indulged with moderation. The practice of banning anything that might prove harmful with long-term use is sending the message that we don't need to check our impulses...poppa government will make sure that everything is "safe." That kind of protectionism is neither healthy nor helpful.

Fast food shouldn't be banned because people have choices, like I can choose to move to a country that doesn't interfere with my choices. I'll take my education, experience and money with me.

Watch the movie Demolition Man with Sylvester Stallone and Sandra Bullock. See what happens when you take away individuality and freedom of choice. See what happens when the government makes your choices for you...it is not a pretty sight.

People should have the choice to ruin their bodies with junk food. It's a free country. We can't ban everything that's not good for us.
