I'm 22 soon to be 23, and after searching and searching and waiting I've finally found an idea, that i'm comfortable and capable of doing.

Im doing school during the year, but in the summer of 2008, I want to implement the business. I plan on traveling to events throughout the midwest operating concessions. I think that beer has the best profit potentional. Sure it's not a million dollar idea, but I think I can see an excellent return on my investment maybe 75-200%. My goal would be to make 15k to bank for the summer. I know all the things I must get like business license, and temp beer license etc.

Is my goal of 15k for maybe 5 events a month for umm..3 months feasible?

Well, I couldn't really tell you if this would be feasible without knowing what kind of events you are going to and how many people will be present.
Say you wanted to sell a large beer at $3.00. You want to make $15,000 at 15 events so basically $1,000 for each event. You would have to sell at least 4,995 beers for all 15 events (totaling $14,985). That would make 333 beers at $3.00 for each event (totaling $999.00).
You have to figure maybe 1/3 of the people at the event will want beer (maybe less, maybe more). Aim for events with at least 1,000 people present.
So, the question is...can you sell 333 beers at each event?
Good luck!

Liquor licenses are a whole 'nuther ball game .
Many places are dry or have a variety of restrictions .

A couple was recently arrested here for transporting beer across state lines . They had picked up a bunch for a wedding party .
Their truck was impounded along with the beer which was disposed of after the arrests .

Also , anyone who sells liquor can be liable for accidents or injury that result from a drunk they served liquor to .
You would need massive , deep pockets insurance .

I suggest finding another product .
