You HAVE to hear " Vocalise No.34 Opus 14" By Rachmoninoff!!!(sp?) OH-MY-GOODNESS! It's beautiful and sad at the same time!! Also Tchikovsky's "Pas de Deux" from the Nutcracker. Meant to be happy but sounds sad to me...but PLEASE check out that rachmoninoff song!!! WOW!!

"Jessica" by the Allman Brothers (Rock instrumental)
"Green Onions" by Booker T and the MG's
Anything by the Vitamin String Quartet (especially since they have contemporary rock on strings)
"Who Are You" and "Baba O'riley" by The London Philharmonic Orchestra.

May I also suggest some A'Cappella music.

Vitamin String Quartet is your best bet.
